Area tourneys are around the corner

SAND MOUNTAIN—After some confusion over tiebreaker regulations last week, all area schools now know where they’re heading next week for area tournaments.
Both Plainview teams will play in the Class 4A, Area 14 tourneys at DAR. All girls area tournaments start this upcoming Thursday while the boys will begin next Friday.
The Pisgah girls and boys earned the right to host the Class 3A, Area 16 tournament, which will also feature Crossville and Sylvania.
Ider will host the girls Class 2A, Area 15 tourney while Fyffe will hold the boys event. Section and NSM also play in Area 15.
Geraldine will host both Class 2A, Area 12 tournaments.
